During the 2015-2016 school year, library bound books for student check out were purchased. Over a six year period, Ferguson Elementary has received over 700 library bound books from the Dartha B. Ferguson Foundation for student use at Ferguson Elementary. The foundation provided money to our local school care team. The care team provides assistance to families in need. The Dartha B. Ferguson Foundation purchased school supplies, co-sponsored the Teacher Appreciation Luncheon, and purchased a teacher gift for all staff members. The Dartha B. Ferguson Foundation received a technology grant from the Gwinnett County Public School Foundation and those funds were used to purchase ipads and other items for the Dartha B. Ferguson Learning Lab. Through the teacher grant program, the Dartha B. Ferguson Foundation purchased tables for teaching area upstairs, donated to the fifth grade celebration, and contributed to the PBIS program. The Dartha B. Ferguson Foundation board looks forward to the continual support of Ferguson Elementary during the up coming school year.
